Sneakers Instead of Wedding Shoes

Jewish weddings are full of traditions, and the most exciting of them all is the chair dance where the bride and groom are hoisted up while family and guests dance around them.

Often during the Hora, the bride and groom are separated, and sometimes they are even tossed up in the air, as shown in this photograph taken by Michael Greenberg in Montreal. For these particular moments, a wide angle lens and a slower shutter speed are recommended to emphasize the craziness and emotion of the Hora dance.

Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
